The National Treasure has become one of Nicolas Cage’s best pictures.  In the movie, he is a passionate  and brilliant historian who believes that his destiny is to find the “National Treasure.”  However, most people hear his family’s name and believe him to be crazy.  In the end, Nicolas Cage proves everyone wrong but actually finding the treasure, but not after lots of troubles and ridicule.  If your child loves watching this famous movie over and over, then it might be a treat for him or her to have a National Treasure themed birthday party.  The party itself could be something of a treasure hunt.  You could organize teams of kids, and they would each get clues.  These clues would lead to rooms around the house, and these rooms would also have clues in them.  Finally, in the end, the last clue could lead to some kind of treasure that the winning team would be able to split.  The preparation for this party would take a long time, as you would have to set up the house to look somewhat like the scenes from National Treasure.  This is why it would be good to get the birthday invitations out early, so that you don’t have to worry about them later.  The kids birthday party invitations should be National Treasure themed, which shouldn’t be too hard to make on the computer.  So get out those birthday invitations and get ready for a great treasure hunt.
